I discovered my passion for intellectual property law at an early stage of my career and have gained experience in my professional field of today already during my technical studies. Later, I gathered years of experience in a large Munich-based patent law firm handling cases of big german tech champions as well as multinational corporations. Now I set out to even better serve the individual needs of my clients by my direct service. 

My practice focuses on patent proceedings before the German and European patent authorities (German Patent and Trademark Office, European Patent Office, Federal Patent Court and Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office). This includes the drafting of patent applications, representation in examination proceedings as well as in opposition and appeal proceedings.

I particularly enjoy and am well versed in conducting proceedings before the European Patent Office in English. This enables my clients with international connections to achieve transparency in the patent proceedings without having to translate all documents.

For some years now, trademark law and design law have also formed an increasingly large part of my work. My clients appreciate my ability to advise in a holistic manner. I enjoy developing multifaceted IP strategies with and for my clients.

When I am asked which technical fields I work on in patent law, I usually answer with "Everything except chemistry and life sciences". Thanks to my mechatronics studies, I am equipped for almost all subfields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology anyway.
